🧹 Write Erase Network Utility - How To Guide
This utility allows you to perform a write erase operation on one or more network devices connected over a serial interface.
➕ Add a Device
Click + ADD A DEVICE to create a new erase operation entry.
Device Configuration
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Port | Select the serial port connected to the target device. |
| Baudrate | Choose the appropriate baud rate for the device (default is 9600). |
| Username | Enter the login username used to access the device. |
| Password | Provide the password associated with the username. |
| Enable Password | If the device requires privilege escalation (e.g., enable mode), enter the enable password here. |
➖ Remove a Device
Click the trash icon on the right of a device block to delete that entry.
🚀 Build
After configuring all target devices, click the BUILD button at the top to start the write erase process.
⚠️ This will reset the selected device(s) to factory default by clearing the startup configuration.
