Getting Started Guide

This guide walks you through installing MANTLE Mobile on Windows or Ubuntu, performing the initial setup, and understanding the various deployment methods.

System Requirements

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 10 and 11
  • Ubuntu 22.04 (x86_64)
  • Ubuntu 22.04 (AArch64)

USB Configuration Interface

MANTLE Mobile uses USB for data transfer and settings synchronization with Android devices. For large deployments, a powered USB hub is recommended. The software configures multiple devices in batches of up to 12 at a time.

Windows Installation

No Admin Privileges Required

MANTLE Mobile installs in the user’s directory, enhancing flexibility and security.
No administrative privileges are needed.

  1. Download the zipped executable (e.g., MantleMobileSetup_x64_v0.10.4.zip).
  2. Right-click the ZIP file, select Extract All.
  3. Navigate to the extracted folder and run MantleMobileSetup_x64_v0.10.4.exe.

Software Updates (Windows)

  1. Download the latest version (e.g., MantleMobileSetup_x64_v0.10.x.zip).
  2. Extract using Extract All.
  3. Run the new .exe to install the update.

Your settings and data are preserved during updates.

Ubuntu Installation

To install on Ubuntu 22.04:

  1. Download MANTLE-MOBILE-ubuntu-v0.10.4.zip (or a similar file from our latest link).
  2. Extract the files using a file manager, then right-click the folder and select Open in Terminal.

  3. Run:

    sudo apt install ./mantle-mobile-ubuntu-x64-package-v0.10.4.deb

MANTLE Mobile will then appear in your system’s Activities Menu.

Software Updates (Ubuntu)

  1. Remove any existing version:

    sudo apt remove --purge -y mantle-mobile-*

  2. Download the latest release (e.g., MANTLE-MOBILE-ubuntu-v0.10.x.zip).

  3. Extract the files, open a terminal in that folder.

  4. Run:

    sudo apt install ./new_version_package.deb

Your settings and data remain intact during the update process.

Initial Steps

After installation and upon first launch:

  1. Windows SmartScreen might appear. Click More info → Run Anyway.

  2. Set a database encryption password.

    • No password recovery is available, so store this securely.

  3. Upload your license key to unlock full features:
